Experience turtle dove hunting during Morocco’s short summer season across the hunting areas of Béni Mellal, Taroudant and Marrakech. The hunt takes place mainly across open fields and agricultural landscapes, focusing on the birds’ morning and evening flights. This creates a very different atmosphere from the autumn and winter programmes, with hunting concentrated during the cooler parts of the day and the characteristic summer landscape of inland Morocco.

The season runs from late July to early September, making this a highly seasonal experience available only for a limited period each year. For programmes around Marrakech, Marrakech Airport is the natural arrival point. Agadir Airport is recommended for hunts in the Taroudant area, while Marrakech is generally the most convenient airport for Béni Mellal; Béni Mellal Airport may also be considered when a suitable flight is available.
