Experience migratory bird hunting in North Macedonia, a destination appreciated for its varied landscapes and the presence of game birds during the main migration periods. The program is dedicated to turtle dove, wood pigeon and quail hunting, with the available species depending on the relevant hunting season and local conditions. Turtle dove hunting takes place mainly across extensive agricultural areas and large sunflower fields, where the birds stop to feed.
Their fast and irregular flight, combined with sudden changes of direction, provides challenging and dynamic shooting opportunities. North Macedonia is also an important destination for migrating quail. Hunting days are organized in carefully selected areas together with local partners, with the aim of providing good hunting opportunities and an authentic wingshooting experience.
Depending on the season, wood pigeon hunting may also be included in the program. The package includes 3 hunting days and 4 nights in a full-board hotel, with accommodation in a double room. The Macedonian hunting permit, hunting organization and the services included in the program for harvested game are also covered.
For guests arriving by air through Skopje or Thessaloniki, airport-to-hotel and return transfers, as well as transfers between the hotel and the hunting areas, are not included in the package price. Guests may also travel with their own vehicle; for those travelling by ferry, SoloCaccia suggests arriving in Igoumenitsa and continuing by car to the final destination. Ammunition, plucking of harvested birds, spirits, firearm rental and the single-room supplement are not included.
Tips are not mandatory but are appreciated. An ideal trip for wingshooters looking to experience different types of migratory bird hunting within a single destination, surrounded by the agricultural landscapes and natural countryside of North Macedonia.
