Driven Wild Boar Hunt in Tunisia

Experience a driven wild boar hunt across different natural hunting territories in Tunisia, as part of an organised trip for groups of a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 hunters. The driven hunts may be organised in different regions of the country, depending on the season, local conditions and the presence of game. In northwestern Tunisia, the mountainous areas of Béja, Le Kef and Siliana feature dense vegetation, natural cover and challenging terrain particularly suited to wild boar.

In central Tunisia, the regions of Kairouan and Sidi Bouzid combine agricultural land with scrubland, while the southern areas of Gafsa and Gabès offer more arid and semi-desert environments. The coastal regions of Bizerte, Nabeul, Sousse and Mahdia provide Mediterranean landscapes and additional productive hunting grounds. The hunting experience is conducted exclusively as a driven hunt, with the support of an experienced local team and in accordance with Tunisian hunting legislation.

The hunting territories are unfenced and cover a total area of approximately 10,000 hectares. Each participant must bring their own smoothbore firearm, as Tunisian law does not permit the use of rifles or firearm rental. The organiser assists hunters with all the administrative procedures required for the temporary importation of their firearm into Tunisia.

Ammunition can be purchased locally for €30 per box of 10 cartridges. There is no limit on the number of wild boars that may be harvested. A harvesting tax of €50 applies to each wild boar taken.

Trophy extraction is provided free of charge, while any gratuity may be left at the hunter’s discretion. The package includes accommodation in a 3-star or 4-star hotel on a full-board basis. The hotel is selected according to the hunting territory and the final travel itinerary.

Possible accommodation options are located in the Hammamet, Kairouan and Béja areas and include the Golden Tulip Président Hammamet, Méhari Hammamet Thalasso & Spa, La Kasbah Kairouan and Hôtel Thugga. Single or double rooms may be arranged according to the hunters’ preferences and hotel availability. The hotels provide a comfortable base during the trip, with facilities that may include Internet access, swimming pools, restaurants and wellness areas.

Some properties are located along the Mediterranean coast, while others provide convenient access to the inland and northwestern hunting territories. The organiser meets the participants at the airport and arranges the transfer to the hotel and hunting area. Airport transfers are included, while flights to and from Tunisia are not included in the package price.

Meals, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are included while at the hunting location. Each hunter may also be accompanied by up to two non-hunting guests, at a price of €700 per companion for the entire stay, including full board.
