Experience thrush hunting across Tunisia’s diverse natural landscapes as part of an organised trip supported by an experienced guide and a professional local team. The hunting days may be organised in different areas of the country, selected according to the season, local conditions and the presence of game. In the north-west, the areas of Béja, Le Kef and Siliana are characterised by dense vegetation, rolling terrain and rural landscapes.
In central Tunisia, Kairouan and Sidi Bouzid combine agricultural land with Mediterranean scrub, while the southern regions of Gafsa and Gabès offer more arid and semi-desert environments. The coastal areas of Bizerte, Nabeul, Sousse and Mahdia provide Mediterranean scenery and additional hunting territories. Thrush hunting is defined by the birds’ fast flight and frequent changes of direction, making each hunting day dynamic and technically demanding.
The activity takes place with the assistance of an experienced guide and in accordance with Tunisian hunting regulations. The stay includes accommodation in a 3- or 4-star hotel with full board. The property is selected according to the hunting area and the itinerary of the trip.
Possible accommodation options include hotels in the Hammamet, Kairouan and Béja areas, such as the Golden Tulip Président Hammamet, Méhari Hammamet Thalasso & Spa, La Kasbah Kairouan and Hôtel Thugga. Rooms may be single or double, depending on the participants’ preferences and hotel availability. The hotels provide a comfortable base throughout the stay, with facilities that may include internet access, swimming pools, restaurants and wellness areas.
Some properties are located along the Mediterranean coast, while others provide easier access to the hunting territories in the inland and north-western areas of the country. The organisation welcomes participants at the airport and arranges transfer to the hotel. Airport transfer is included, while flights to and from Tunisia are at the client’s expense.
During the activities in the hunting areas, meals, non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages are included. Each hunter may also be accompanied by a maximum of two non-hunting guests, subject to a supplement of €700 per accompanying guest for the entire stay, including full board. Throughout the stay, participants are assisted by an experienced guide, who accompanies them during the hunting days and provides the necessary support in the field.
The package also includes the hunting permit. The experience is available in two options: -3 hunting days at €2,490 per person; -5 hunting days at €3,190 per person. Ammunition is not included and is available at a cost of €18 per box of 25 cartridges.
A porter may also be requested at an additional cost of €50 per day. The deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundable.
