Experience a 7-day hunting safari in South Africa’s Eastern Cape, specifically focused on Sable hunting and accompanied on a one-to-one basis by a registered and experienced Professional Hunter. The package includes the harvest of 1 Sable, with the corresponding trophy fee already included in the experience price. The program is designed as a complete safari package, combining professional guided hunting with full-board accommodation and the principal services required throughout the stay.
The package includes 7 days with full board and accommodation, round-trip airport transfers from Port Elizabeth, hunting licence, 1:1 guided hunting with a registered Professional Hunter, rifle and ammunition for the booked package, daily housekeeping and laundry service, as well as the initial preparation of the trophy and its handover to a local taxidermy facility in South Africa. The Sable is the central trophy of this safari. Due to the species’ limited annual availability, Sable hunting must be arranged and booked in advance.
Hunters wishing to further customise their safari may add additional trophy animals according to the applicable price list and availability. A wide range of African species is available, including Warthog, Waterbuck, Nyala, Kudu, Impala, Cape Buffalo, Giraffe, Red Hartebeest, Springbok, Roan and several others. Trophy fees for additional animals include the initial trophy preparation, including skinning and salting, as well as transfer to the local taxidermy facility.
Most additional species may also be selected during the stay, while Cape Buffalo and additional Sable must be booked in advance due to their limited availability. Specific conditions apply to certain additional species. The required TOPS permit for Blue Duiker is not included in the trophy fee.
Cape Buffalo measuring 43 inches and above and Oribi are priced on request, while a separate price list for White Rhino is available upon request. Additional activities may also be arranged during the stay. A night-hunting session can be booked locally for €250 per outing, with the applicable trophy fees charged separately according to the price list.
Species listed for night hunting include jackals, genets, lynxes, porcupines and hares. A full day of duck, goose and guinea fowl hunting is also available for €400 per hunter per day. This activity can only be booked locally, and rifle/shotgun and ammunition costs are not included.
For guests wishing to combine hunting with another outdoor experience, a full day of deep-sea fishing from Port Elizabeth can be added for €1,000 per day. The fishing package includes fishing equipment and bait, full catering and a professional guide and is subject to weather and seasonal conditions. The package price does not include international or domestic flights to and from South Africa, personal expenses and travel insurance, rifle and ammunition for additional trophy hunts, trophy fees for animals added beyond the Sable included in the package, tips for staff and the Professional Hunter, excursions and entrance fees, taxidermy, or the final transport and shipment of the trophy to the hunter’s destination country.
